Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Arteur — the operator of arteur.app — when you use the site or buy a room unlock. You can always reach a human at hi@arteur.app. We’ve kept them short and in plain English on purpose.
The service
You upload one photo of your room, pick a style, and preview an AI-generated redesign. If you like it, you pay once to unlock full-quality results for that room. There is no account, no login, and no subscription — a purchase is a single transaction, not an ongoing relationship.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Arteur, and old enough to legally make the purchase where you live. By uploading a photo you confirm you have the right to use it (it’s your home, or you have the owner’s permission).
One-time $5 unlock
- One payment, nothing recurring. The unlock is a one-time $5 (USD) purchase. It is not a subscription and we will never charge you again unless you make a new purchase.
- What you get: full-quality AI renders of the room in your photo — you can re-render the same room in different styles, up to 10 renders per unlock.
- Payment is handled by Stripe. Checkout happens on Stripe’s secure hosted page; your card details go to Stripe, never to us. Stripe emails you a receipt.
- Price. The total is shown before you pay. We may change pricing for future purchases; a price change never affects a purchase you’ve already made.
Immediate digital delivery
Renders are digital content delivered immediately: generation starts right after payment, most renders finish in under a minute, and slow ones can take a few minutes. Your result appears in your browser, and we also email your renders with a private results link so a closed tab doesn’t lose them.
That results link works like a ticket — anyone who has it can view your renders. Keep the email private.
If a render fails or we can’t deliver it, we make it right: we re-run it or refund you (see Refunds, below).
Refund policy
Failed or unusable render? Email us and we’ll re-render it or refund you in full — always.
Just not happy? Email us within 14 days of purchase for a no-questions money-back refund.
To request a refund, email hi@arteur.app from the address you used at checkout, ideally with the approximate purchase date. Refunds go back to your original payment method via Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days.
If you’re in the EU or UK: because renders are digital content supplied immediately, starting generation would normally end your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Our 14-day money-back guarantee above is at least as generous as that right, so you lose nothing by buying — and nothing in this section limits your statutory rights if the content is faulty or never delivered.
Your photos stay yours
- You own your photo. Uploading it transfers nothing to us.
- You give us just enough permission to do the job: a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, and process your photo solely to generate and deliver your renders — including on the third-party GPU infrastructure that runs our rendering on our instructions, and to store and email you the finished renders.
- We don’t publish your photos or renders or use them in our marketing without your permission.
- We don’t use your photos to train AI models. Rendering is generation-only.
How your photo, email, and renders are handled and kept is described in our Privacy Policy.
What you can do with the results
- Use them for anything, personal or commercial. We grant you all rights we have in your renders — print them, share them, use them in a listing.
- No exclusivity or uniqueness guarantee. The AI may produce similar or identical results for other customers, and purely AI-generated images may not qualify for copyright protection — so we can’t promise you copyright ownership, and we don’t warrant that outputs are non-infringing.
- Renders are AI-generated visualizations. They can contain errors — invented objects, wrong proportions, products that don’t exist — and they are not professional interior-design, architectural, structural, or measurement advice. Please don’t renovate, build, or buy based on a render alone.
The “shop the look” list links to third-party retailers. Some links are affiliate links — you pay the same price and we may earn a small commission. The products are the retailers’ own; their prices, availability, and terms are theirs, not ours, and items shown in a render may not exactly match.
What you may not upload or do
- Only upload photos you have the right to use. Don’t upload images of identifiable people without their consent.
- Never upload unlawful content. Sexual content involving minors and non-consensual intimate imagery are absolutely prohibited; apparent child sexual abuse material is reported to the authorities as the law requires.
- Don’t abuse the render pipeline: no scripted or bulk requests, no circumventing render limits or payment, no attempts to interfere with or reverse-engineer the service.
If you break these rules we may refuse or cancel renders and revoke your access without a refund.
Disclaimer and liability cap
Arteur and its renders are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement — to the maximum extent the law allows. We don’t promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any render will meet your expectations (though our refund policy exists precisely for that).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability arising out of or relating to the service or the renders — including indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or the cost of substitute services — however arising, even if we’ve been advised such losses are possible. Where the law does not allow liability to be excluded entirely, our total liability to you is capped at the amount you paid us for the purchase the claim relates to.
What this never limits: liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or anything else the law does not allow us to limit. And nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law — for example, if you’re in the EU or UK and a paid render is faulty or never delivered, you keep your legal right to re-performance or a refund regardless of anything above.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes belong to the courts of Singapore — except that if you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in and may bring or defend claims in your home courts.
Before anything formal: email us. At a $5 price point, we would much rather just fix the problem.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Changes apply only going forward — the terms in force when you made a purchase keep governing that purchase. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us for the service.
